a small canvas print for my nephew for Christmas, the painting with the bubbles.

It is so imaginative, and reminds me of one of my favorite mental images.

When reading Piaget for a child development class years ago he described thinking

as a child that the clouds over the mountains

from his home came from his father's pipe.

A funny little perceptual quality that children outgrow,

and the bubbles/sun/moon reminded me of this image.

Anyway, I love the painting and think it's perfect for a little boy just learning to see.
